Designed as European Long Rods in 14' rated 37ozs, and 15' for 46oz casting, the Hellbender rods feature a 3 piece, slim diameter, lightweight, ultra sensitive blank comprised from a carefully blended mix of high modulus carbons. The actions offer a supple tip with a progressive increase in power through the mid section in to the butt producing a more "all through" action. This makes them ideally suited for general beach fishing with the ability to achieve maximum casting distances with the simplest of casting styles, especially the overhead thump and off the ground styles. Such is the versatility of the blank design that the rods are suited to both mono and braid lines when fi shed with a fixed spool reel making them popular with both freelance and competition anglers.
