The Cloudelle uses the best of insulated technology, combining AF fabric with 400g of recycled Primaloft Eco the same continuous filament insulation that keeps you warm in jackets and sleeping bags. The vamp is pressed, high abrasion splits and the mudguard uses climbing type rubbers for stylish 360 splash proof perimeter protection, while the upper conforms softly to your feet. Underfoot, the internal tri density, compression moulded EVA midsole gives comfort at the heel as well as arch support and helps ensure the clean, over lasted feel of the shoes themselves. The outsole is both technical and attractive, utilising Berghaus’s own patented Opti Stud lug pattern, an omni directional, tri lobal pattern with studs that utilise a temperature sensitive compound that hardens in colder temperatures, creating a tuned, dual density outsole that provides excellent traction and grip on slippery surfaces.
