Cuerra Cuesta is the next link in the evolution of the approach shoe. Full of technical innovation, this shoe provides something unheard of in the world of approach shoes all day comfort. The upper is sleek and simple, using highly breathable split suede and high abrasion climbing rubber at the vamp and mudguard. The simple asymmetrical lace to toe system, integrated with our Limpet holding system, allows you to tune the fit to your exact foot shape. The magic continues with the three part midsole where all other approach shoes are either too hard or too soft, this is just right. On heel strike with hard midsoles you are subject to stone bruising so we’ve engineered a soft, compression moulded heel crash pad. To provide premium stiffness in the forefoot for edging, we’ve developed a tuned Plantar Plate, which is soft in the heel and fi rm in the forefoot to give superior control. Underfoot, the dual density sock liner features 20% recycled OrthoLite PU foam, offering naturally anti microbial, shock attenuating comfort to allow you to go the distance. This innovative technology continues to the outsole, which offers the unique combination of Vibram’s XS grip and our own patented omni directional, multi faceted, multi sport confi guration of Opti Stud.
