Yann's father Bernard established the Chave family's reputation for rigorous winemaking. This year marks the tenth anniversary of son Yann making the wine here, and it's clear to followers of the domaine that every year sees a step up in quality the Crozes Hermitage in particular offers astonishing value. Yann's single minded hard work is just beginning to earn the reputation he deserves, and his 2005s will raise his profile still further.
