Promethean ACTIVhub for Learning Response SystemActivHub is a specially designed USB device that enables wireless connectivity for the ActivBoard range through Promethean's ActivAir RF technology. Like Bluetooth, ActivAir ''channel hops'' to avoid interference, and operates in the same highly regulated and globally approved 2.4Ghz frequency with a range of 100 meters in free space. Because ActivAir is Promethean's own technology, risk of interference from other devices is significantly less than with Bluetooth or other similar devices. ActivAir also enables simultaneous use of multiple Learner Response devices and handheld telepointing peripherals such as ActivSlates through a single computer connection.
