Sitting between the Network operators main housing and the Customers Connection Unit it provides filtering for all connected telephone extensions and can be installed without having to disconnect any previously installed extension wiring. VDSL modem connection is provided by the shuttered RJ45 socket on the front of the unit. Alternatively provision is made for connection of the modem via an internal 2 way IDC connectorAlthough designed for VDSL it is backwards compatible with all ADSL products and is ideal for the new Hi Speed services such as Internet TV and situations where the best filter possible is paramount to ensure a quality service from the provider.Please note The additional picture above shows the product with the front plate of the NTE5 fitted this is not supplied in the pack as you will already have this part fitted to your existing master socket.
