It is fast sinking, easy to splice, nicely camouflaged, reliably strong and because it has a true lead wire core, extremely supple. This suppleness ensures that your terminal tackle hugs the bottom and closely follows the contours of the lake or river bed. Splicing leadcore produces an extremely neat joint which is stronger and far more streamlined than any knot.
