The jacket is very versatile and is equally suitable for ski touring and ice climbing with venting pit zips a helmet compatible hood a powder skirt and RECCO system. The main fabric TEXAPORE AIR O2 STRETCH delivers the weather protection dynamic breathability and kinetic stretch comfort. The fabric is waterproof and windproof yet allows air to pass through. The constant process of air exchange through the fabric accelerates the moisture vapour transmission rate which means the breathability increases the more active you get. To combat the abrasion caused by the rucksack and when shouldering your skis the critical wear zones of the waist and shoulders consist of a very robust version of TEXAPORE O2. The jacket is insulated with our new synthetic fibre fill FIBERCLOUD HT. The fill has good lofting capability and is extremely warm with a similar feel to down. It is also very low maintenance and insulates well even when damp. At the areas of the jacket where greater breathability is required we have incorporated a very breathable highloft fleece lining.
