Winner of Practical Preschool Gold Award 2008. The TAG Reader is a touch and talk reading device that brings stories to life like never before. As children touch the TAG Reader to the pages of specially printed TAG storybooks, a small camera in the tip 'reads' the pages, enabling children to hear their favourite characters speak, listen to pictures sing and hear the words on the page spoken aloud. The TAG reading system engages children with a wide range of additional books that encompass a multitude of fun stories, games and activities that introduce reading comprehension, word building, phonics skills and more. In addition children can unlock extra content online in the form of printable activities and certificates via a dedicated website. The TAG reader can store up to 5 books and an additional feature is that you can listen to stories on the go! Contents include TAG Reader, 1 of either Ozzie and Mack or The Cat in the Hat storybook story audio pre loaded on Reader, user guide, USB cable and LeapFrog Connect CD.
