It is strong as it is cast in aluminium with steel components and has no hard to access bolts and no tools are needed for adjustment.As this plate uses a sliding safety locking quick release platform from a popular Manfrotto video head it is easily interchangeable with other equipment and the sliding mechanism can fine tune the position of your camera.Two 38” threads are provided on the underside for attachment of the rig to a monopod, tripod or video head like the 504HD via an extra sliding QR plate.
