Sennheiser SH 230 Headset

The SH 230 is an entry level over the head monaural headset that offers premium quality, safety and comfort features. The SH 230 incorporates Sennheiser's unique, patented ActiveGard sound compression technology to guard against acoustic shock and maintain distortion free reception. The sophisticated ActiveGard circuitry protects the user's hearing from sudden and unexpected noise levels over the telephone system, limiting the maximum SPL to 104dB. User comfort is assured through ball mounted speaker capsules, which ensure an optimal fit to the ear, with double sided headband adjustment guaranteeing the best possible fit on the head. Acoustical foam ear cushions effectively channel sound into the ear while keeping distracting external noise out. A flexible and pivotable boom arm makes for easy positioning of the omni directional microphone. The headband is detachable for easy upgrading to an ear clip. Frequency response of the microphone and speaker capsules is 300Hz 3.4kHz. Available in black with a dark gray colored C clamp and a Kevlar reinforced 1 m3.3 ft. cable with Easy Disconnect connector, standard accessories also include a cableclothing clip and a carrying bag. Optional accessories include leatherette ear cushions, replacement acoustical foam ear pads, microphone windscreen, ear clip, and replacement side support.
