The BerghausBenefaction II GTX changes the multi sport paradigm with a seamless blend of running technology on a fast and light hiking platform. The biomechanically correct, asymmetrical upper design is merged with a game changing, energy returning technical multi sport outsole system, perfect whether mountain biking, approaching a crag or just covering the done in a day distance. The upper is built of hard wearing synthetics and high abrasion DWR coated, water resistant knit mesh and cleverly captures your foot using our EHS system, active heel webbing that secures your foot into the heel pocket, preventing blisters and toe jamming on the downhill. Underfoot, a dual density sock liner features 20% recycled OrthoLite PU foam, lined with ETC low friction mesh to provide soft, blister free, naturally antimicrobial, shock attenuating comfort, allowing you to go the distance. The technical sole unit features a triple density midsole system. Part one is the cushioned single density EVA midsole, which sits on an injection moulded pressure dispersing Plantar Plate above the EROI Pod, a highly compression resistant injected polyurethane pod engineered to mechanically rebound expended energy on every footfall. All this midsole technology sits securely on an outsole that packs the one two punch of Vibram, whose outsole technology has been relied upon for over 70 years and the new, multi faceted, multisport confi guration of Opti Stud,Berghaus's patented tri lobal, omnidirectional lug design.
