Joby Gorillatorch Flare

The Joby Gorillatorch Flare is the kind of torch that does all the things torches should and didn't in the past. Ideal for keeping for example in your car or backpack it combines the Gorillapod support with a dual purpose light unit. At its centre is a super bright 125 lumen CREE LED for steady white light illumination and surrounding this are three powerful red LEDs. Both the white and red elements can be set to steady or flashing mode, so it can also be used for warning or like a distress flare.The central LED has a focused projection lens for floodlit illumination up to 27 metres away and can also be set in lower output modes for longer battery life battery life ranges from 20 to 80 hours depending on beam intensity, or as long as 180 hours in red strobe mode.Battery replacement is simple with all three AA cells pointing the same way and the whole unit is made from tough ABS plastic which is IP65 water resistant and can withstand shocks such as a drop from 2m height.The tripod section has over two dozen leg joints and can rotate through 360° and powerful magnetic feer for ultimate flexibility in setup.Dimensions 20 x 7.5 x 6.5cm 8 x 3 x 2.5Weight 185g
