For some controversy and success come hand in hand and when compared against her 30 year long career few can claim to have epitomised this nearly as well as Madonna. In addition to selling more than 300 million records making her the best selling female artist of all time she has even earned the ire of organizations as diverse as the Vatican and Pepsi.
