The Nikkor AF S 70 200mm f4G ED VR lens is suitable for both Full 35mm FX format frame cameras and DX format cameras giving an equivalent focal length of 105 300mm. The constant f4 maximum aperture across the zoom range makes for reliable exposure calculation and it is ideal for fast moving subjects especially when you factor in the 5 stops of image stabilisation from the VR Vibration Reduction system.The lens is optically superb with ED Extra Low Dispersion and HRI High Refractive Index elements and Nano Crystal Coating which cuts out ghosting and flare. Focusing is fast and easy with the Silent Wave Motor which has an AM mode auto with manual override as well as having totally manual focus. A 1m minimum focus also gives you the opportunity for closeup shooting.
