A man whose accomplishments are nearly unrivalled within popular music Sir Paul McCartney's illustrious career began seriously in 1960 as part of The Beatles arguably the most important group in the history of popular music but undeniably the most commercially successful. With Lennon in particular McCartney formed a collaborative relationship and an unsurpassed fertility was evident behind dozens legendary songs that include “Love Me Do” “A Hard Day's Night” and “In My Life”.
