The HD 25 has excellent sound quality and good headband versatility which makes the HD 25 a good headphone for active types who enjoy moving around a bit while keeping their headphone securely affixed to their head. The HD 25 sonic signature Tight and well defined lows with a cleanly damped sound in the bass; very even sounding mids, nicely present and quite punchy; and fairly smooth and well extended highs. The earcup piece also swivels out of the way on the left ear so you can hear outside sounds or perform fast paced DJ mixing with one ear. The construction is a high quality plastic composite throughout and feels extremely well built and durable. The mid sized supra aural earpads are a supple pleather type material and offer respectable ambient noise attenuation. The 4.5 ft single sided, straight Y cable is terminated with an 18" inch mini plug and a larger 14" adaptor is included in the HD 25 package.
