Its optical stabiliser and rear focusing systems make it a more manageable lens for one of such large focal length.Optical StabiliserUsing Sigma's own OS technology, the image stabilisation gives a useful extra four stops in exposure allowing for smaller apertures to be set giving better depth of field and extended low light capability.Optical FeaturesThis lens uses Special Low Dispersion SLD elements. These minimise chromatic aberrations in addition to the rear focusing system that also reduces aberrations from focusing.
